Its not often we can reproduce the perfect cup of coffee at home mainly because as soon as the beans are ground they start to oxidise and dry out loosing the oils, taste and the aroma. Arguably the grinder is considered the best way to release the flavours rather than the fast blade which smashes the bean. Not being the greatest connoisseur but a mere an interested amateur I cannot tell the difference but if you can then this grinder is something worth having in your kitchen. Its not huge and will make as much or as little as you need on demand. Now where is the best place to find fresh roasted coffee. One place worth visiting is at the top of Leith Walk in Elm Row just follow the lovely coffee smell until you arrive at the queue especially on Saturday morning.
